J2ME Recreational Dive Planner
The J2ME Recreational Dive Planner is Java program that will run on a java enabled device, (for software requirements see below).
 

Device Requirements

The application will run on a JAVA J2ME enabled device so long as it supports MIDP 1.0 and CLDC 1.0.  It supports any screen resolution but 180 x 180 is recommended as the minimum.

Features

  • Uses PADI recreation dive planner.
  • Plan a single dive or multiple repetitive dives.
  • Review entered dive profiles.
  • Set default values for dive parameters.
  • Plan nitrox dives using EAD.  Tables will be added in the future.
  • Works in feet and metres.
  • Displays the following:
    • Pressure groups
    • Max dive time
    • No decompression limit
    • Residual nitrogen time
    • Oxygen partial pressue
    • % of allowable exposure
    • Max depth (O2pp = 1.4)
    • Contigency Depth (O2pp = 1.6)

 

Downloads

Some devices require the install to be performed via a .JAD file and a .JAR file, others require just the .jar file, so, both are provided below. If you find you have a problem with one then please try the other. If you still have problems then please drop us a mail with the make and model of phone or other device that you are using.
